2004 was a tragic year In Horsens Marina, as two persons drowned. They fell in the water and tried to get back up, but were unable to locate any ladders. Both accidents could very well have been prevented, if the two persons had had a chance to get out of the water. 

Ladders save lives

As a yachting enthusiast the owner of Gybo has a personal interest in make the Danish marinas safe. It therefore came natural to develop a ladder, which is easy to integrate in the marina setting. The stainless steel ladder is easy to install on and remove from the boat bridge. It has five steps and is equipped with a hand rail that offers a safe and solid grip.  Horsens Marina has purchased 30 ladders, which were installed for the 2005 sailing season. But a lot of other marinas still remain unsafe.  The price of ladder is DKK 3700.00 excl. VAT and freight.
